Sarvodaya Suwasetha Sewa Society Limited was inaugurated in 1975 as the welfare arm of the Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement. With a 50-year history, we are committed to protecting vulnerable communities by promoting and safeguarding the rights of children, adolescents, teenage mothers, youth, elders, and persons with special needs and disabilities. We ensure they receive care, love, and protection in a nurturing environment.

In 1986, we officially became known as Sarvodaya Suwasetha Sewa Society Limited, the first independent unit of the Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement. In 1987, Sarvodaya Suwasetha was gazetted as a Government Approved Charity. It was re-registered as a charity/NGO in accordance with the Parliamentary Act of 1998, bearing registration no. L/62414.

We provide essential services, including nutrition, residential care, rehabilitation, early childhood education, and elderly support, assisting families and children in need across Sri Lanka.
